Screw Conveyors Working principle

Screw (Helical Blade)

Tube or Trough

This is the enclosure around the screw that contains and guides the material being moved. Tubes are used for the enclosed transfer, while troughs are partially open on the top and are used for easy access and monitoring of the material flow.

Inlet and Outlet (Feed and Discharge Points)

Drive Unit
